Beginnings

A few years ago I found myself at the end of my rope. I was a severe out of control diabetic and morbidly obese. I started to turn my life around when I found out about going on a completely plant based diet. Since then I've lost over 100 pounds and have gone off all medication for diabetes, cholesterol and more.

Qualifications

I have a Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University under the direction of T. Collin Campbell. I have spoken to numerous groups and organizations. Last March I joined the Engine 2 Diet team along with Rip Esselstyn, Dr. Cadwell Esselstyn, Dr. Pam Popper,  Jeff Novick, trainer John Pierre and chef Abbie Jaye. I spoke at their week long Immersion Program in Austin TX. I will be featured in 2 books - one by Kathy Freston, a New York Times best selling author.

Through my website, VeganHope.com, I've helped people of all walks of life, in all corners of the globe discover the benefits of a healthy plant-based life. In addition I've facilitated several workshops and spoken to many groups about going plant-based.
