Who is it for?
Everyone. Particularly anyone who wants an encouraging, uplifting and positive environment to make healthy changes. No matter where you're starting at this workshop is for you. Whether you've been vegan for awhile or starting with a standard american diet, you're welcome here. All you need is a strong desire to change your health!
What does the workshop include?
- Blogs, discussions, videos and chats on a wide variety of topics from breaking food adictions to how to cook fabulous plant-based meals.
- A free copy of China Study, one of the most important books on nutrition.
- Meal Plans
- Fun assignments and goals.
- And best of all, a loving and encouraging community of people who are all in this together.
When does it begin?
It starts on June 28, 2010, but be sure to register as soon as possible to reserve your spot. We're keeping the workshop small so everyone gets the individual attention they deserve. It wraps up on July 30, 2010. After that you'll have continued access to the workshop and all the materials for three months or more.
How does the workshop work?
The workshop is held in a privite online social network, accessible only by the participants of the workshop. Nothing you write will ever be seen by anyone outside the workshop. We take your privacy very seriously. The workshop is a safe place to share anything that's on your mind as you make the healthy changes. In fact, the more you share the more you'll get out it.
Within the private community, you'll be able to write blog posts, upload videos, take part in discussions, make friends and encourage others. Each day I'll post videos, articles and healthy challenges.
What happens when I sign up?
When you sign up I'll send you an application to see if workshop is right for you. Then we'll do a health assessment so you can remember where you started from and feel great about the progress you make. I'll encourage you to take the health assesment again at the end of the workshop so you know how to proceed from there.
How much time does it take?
The more you participate the more you will get out of this experience. I encourage you at the very least to read my daily lesson, watch the daily video and share your thoughts in the daily discussion. Beyond that, you'll enjoy meeting and learning about the other members of the community. Each workshop is filled with people from all walks of life who are excited to meet you!
What do I need to start?
Just an internet connection. If you can update your web browser to the latest version that will reduce any technical issues, but we really haven't had many so far.
I have a medical condition, is this for me?
I'll post frequent physical challenges, but please consult with a physician before starting any excersize program. Even if you can't start an excercise program, this workshop will still be very helpful to you. I focus on dietary changes that for most people improve the ability to increase movement in thier daily life.
