Being in the workshop was such an amazing experience for me. I was very new to plant-based diets, so it heightened my awareness of the vegan lifestyle in many ways. I learned so much - from what foods to eat, shopping tips, delicious recipes, helpful websites, challenges and inspiration. It was an experience I will never forget, as it has had such a positive impact on me and my family. I grew in so many ways, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to live a healthy life. I have never felt better!

Thanks to Natala I have lost a total of 40 pounds so far and have been able to go off of my cholesterol medications. The workshop was amazing, it challenged and pushed me further than I thought I could have ever gone. I never thought that I could give up things like cheese or meat, but Natala made it fun and easy and gave solid reasons why I should, and it worked. I would recommend her workshop to anyone looking to get healthy, lose weight or just to learn about nutrition.

I was a meat and bacon guy for a long time, and then I found out I was about to have a heart attack if I kept going. I have a 5 year old boy and my wife was afraid that I wouldn't be around much longer. I've never had a salad in my life, except if it was on a bun with meat.
I was hesitant to take your class, I didn't want to give up the food I loved. You quickly showed me that I had no clue how to eat, and that what I was eating was not only causing me to be fat, but causing cancer, heart disease and other bad stuff. You had a great attitude, but were also hard when you needed to be.
In the month I was in the class with my wife I learned how to make better choices and why the ones I was making before were killing me. I also learned why it was hard to give up on the foods I really loved. I still don't eat salad, but I eat a lot of hearty and healthy meals that I actually enjoy. Best of all, my cholesterol is much better, I've lost weight, and my family is also getting healthier.- Travis A.
If you would have told me several years that I would be embracing a vegan life, I would have laughed. My grad school roommate jokes about how I used to only eat veggies from cans.
That said, the reason I'm moving in this direction is because of Natala, her wisdom, inspiration, and facilitation of the workshop. Through sharing her story, troubleshooting, encouraging, and challenging, I've found a new way to live and have made more headway on my own food issues than I have my whole life. I find natala and the way she structures the workshop to be inspiring not heavy-handed, caring but very aware of what is at stake for our health and the planet.- Holly Z.
Being Vegan for 3 years I was already not eating things like milk, eggs and meat. I still wasn't as healthy as I'd like to be, and had some weight to lose. The workshop helped me to see how I was not treating my body very well, by still eating junk food, even though I had cut out dairy/meat. I have been able to take off the weight I needed to, and I am feeling great! I have a lot of energy and I have been able to stop drinking coffee, which was a bit step for me. The workshop really helped me to figure out how to include exercise in my very busy life. I needed something easy, and the workshop taught me how to make easy meals. It was a great experience I did it almost a year ago and I have kept it up, I would do it all over again!
